6:30 pm Screening of the documentary about Djarara, "The Other Side of the Water: the Journey of a Haitian Rara Band in Brooklyn" with Q&A with film director, Jeremy Robins.

Thursday, 9/23/10
12 - 1:15 pm Djarara performance plus Q&A for Madison College students at MATC East Campus (outdoors or in the cafeteria)
5 - 6:00 pm Small group of Djarara musicions and dancers perform at a nearby community center for young children.

 

Friday, 9/24/10
9:30 am Performance for 150-200 elementary school students at MATC's Mitby Theater. By invitation.

6:15 pm Parade performance at Memorial Union Terrace
