About the Artists
De Temps Antan, which translates to something akin to of times yesteryear, could not be a more fitting title. Quebec's finest folk trio is bringing the fun of folk music to Union South on October 4th, 2013. De Temps Antan is a lively, spirited band crafted through a collective love of French-Canadian, traditional Quebec music. Éric Beaudry, André Brunet and Pierre-Luc Dupuis all grew up in strong musical families, and took it upon themselves to share the kitchen dance parties of their childhoods with the world. Among their long list of credentials are a Canadian Grand Master Fiddler award and a performance at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver. Using their feet, singing, and rocking out on bouzouki, accordion, fiddle, guitar, and harmonica, the three certainly know how to have a good time.
