About the Film

Don and Fran Van Polen, professional landscape photographers, take you all across America for a view of autumn across the nation. The brilliant narration and old classic songs such as “Seeing Nellie Home,” “Suppertime” and other old favorites will hold you captivated. Begin by journeying through a legendary New England autumn, whose stunning foliage prompts special drives and maps made just for experiencing the views and colors. Drive to Antietam, Maryland and learn the story of “Battle Hymn.” Pass through our very own Wisconsin on your way to South Dakota, Kansas, and Idaho as you finish the journey at Mt. Rainier in Washington State, a fantastic conclusion to this exploration of the beauty of autumn.
